I start my day with prep for a DSA mock interview. We have interviews with aspire and DSA has been the weak suite so far. She does not cooperating despite many efforts. She is going into the shell and has decided she won't get it. Another colleague of hers comes over and does a decent job. I do not sleep well during the night. Early morning 5AM I wake her up for another trial. She starts okay however doesn't respond to corrections. Goes on making the same mistakes. She would have done this 10 times. Initially I keep quiet as it might be due to fear. However with time I realise it is arrogance. She started being quite arrogant and self centred. However with time she has gotten better. There are remnants. And needs to be weeded out. She needs to understand the value of the opportunity she has. And for that it's time for her to go visit where she came from. Though her intentions are good she is lacking gratitude which is coming in the way of respecting the opportunity and giving her 100%.
She is asked to leave and come back in a week. She has worked hard to build trust and resolve conflicts. However gratitude is the most important value for her and she must be provided an opportunity to realise that.
I ask everyone to leave in 30 mins. She is hesitating and thinks this is one of those tricks to make her realise. However she realised it has crossed the boundary and she must go. Within an hour she gets ready and comes down with her bags. Lavanya who is helping with english language messages and asks if 4 of her students could visit her house. The 4 of them leave to Lavanya's house and the plan is to go to her hometown after meeting Lavanya.

This is probably the biggest risk we have taken. Hope everyone comes back. We could have outsourced software development training to any company we work with. What JTD wants to build is a strong personality and it will not come without it's share of risks and challenges. Fingers crossed.
