Today I am riding from Malur to Palamaner. Malur is my hometown and Palamaner is nothing less than hometown. My mother, uncle and aunt are joining me to Palamaner by car while I ride. I have 2.5 acres of land where we had sown horsegram seeds and they have grown well. My mother and aunt want to do harvesting the traditional way and they are going to plan that when they get there. The ride to banagapete was fine however the wind did make me struggle a lot today. The sugarcane juice vendor was surprised to hear the price of the cycle and the gear. I reach Kammasandra and have curd rice for lunch. Then I start to Vkota and then to Palamaner. Thankfully a good juice joint has opened in Vkota where I drank great orange juice that kept me hydrated in the hot sun. As I was reaching Baireddipalle my mother uncle and aunt showed up. My mother had the painful expression as why is this campaign needed. My uncle was impressed. We had tea at baireddipalle. They make tamil nadu style tea which I got used to in coimbatore during my working days at Kalvium. I actually miss the campus and students a lot. We reach the farm and my uncle is very happy. Having been a farmer for 50 years farm for him is like laptop to me. He is happy with the yield. He is confident of 1000 kg yield. Mother and Aunt plan for the harvesting festival. They want to put all the horsegram in a large cone shape and worship it. My aunt plans to get all the kids in the extended family to witness it. As long as I can fund and forget am happy. I have enough on my plate to ride and get laptops. We then go to Raghavendra's house. I shower and his mother cooked great dinner. We got back to Malur. And I suffered very bad diarreaha. Don't know why. I didn't eat anything other than curd rice. Hope I can ride tomorrow?
