Day 97 : She gets a hoodie and celebrates a birthday

Today is birthday of one of our volunteers Varsha. Varsha has been a great addition to the Program Management team. Varsha doesn't know about the surprise birthday celebrations.

We also have our first mentoring workshop today based on a program prepared based on the book by Wendy AxleRod . We discuss fundamentals of mentoring and as usual these trainings are taking more time than usual.

Then comes the birthday celebration. Varsha has also been awarded the Volunteer of the Quarter Q2 2023 award.

It has started getting cold in Bangalore. She came here in summer and undermined the need of a sweater. Volunteer Ganesh quickly plans and gets the hoodies under 5 hours. He has been doing similar magic for years at JTD. You could see her sporting her hoodie. The hoodie has the symbol of PGC (Palamaner Girl Coders) that you could see below.

Day 98 tomorrow

Day 96 : "In a small house in Bangalore 15 girls from a town Palamaner, AP are training under the guidance of JTD to become full stack developers.
