It's Day 75 of the program. She has worked pretty hard.
The first 2 weeks were very tough on her. She had come outside home for the first time. Mostly time was spent missing the family. If you ask her today, she doesn't want to go home. She has come a long way.
Today she has built most of the static pages and it's time to start building some backend for the website . She is building the website while learning REACT. Mentor soumitha came up with this idea of learning Frontend, Backend and DBMS while building the website. Its quite radical. What's JTD without radical thinking. A JTD scholarship holder herself has imbibed some qualities of her fellow JTDians for sure. Mentor Kiran played devils advocate and there was a heated debate.

Mentor Devaraj stressed the importance of a tracker. We discussed for 30 minutes and built a tracker for her. Fundamentally it's all the topics one must learn to become a FullStack Developer sliced and diced. Done will give 1 point, In Progress will make it 0 and Not Learnt will subtract 1 point. This way we will be able to track her progress. You could see the tracker sample below.

Day 76 tomorrow

"In a small house in Bangalore 15 girls from a town Palamaner, AP are training under the guidance of JTD to become full stack developers. They are staying together for 6 months for a gruelling 15 hours a day bootcamp. The series of posts cover their day to day stories". Day 75 of their journey
