Day 71 : She goes on a day out

We make sure to take a day off in a month to rejuvenate and recharge. Thankfully this time it was also the birthday of Amma. She is turning 70 today and has been a great support system for JTD. We all went to Malur to celebrate her birthday.

3 months ago when I asked her if we could use the house for the bootcamp, she said YES without hesitation. The pact was I will pay for all the potential damages students cause. She is also someone who cooks for 100s during JTD events. Glad we got to spend time with her.

We even went to our village Thimmanayakanahalli 7 kms from Malur. We climbed a mango tree and plucked a few mangoes. One of our villagers Manjunath Gowda seeing it asked us to go to his backyard and pluck as many mangoes as we want seeing the girls. We plucked at-least 30 mangoes. They will be ripe in few days and will be a feast to eat. The village lake is full and we got drenched in rain and played in the lake.

A great day out today. Back to military routine tomorrow.
