Day 104 : She faces a devils advocate

Updated: Jul 19, 2023

As we have written a few times she is using Agile methodologies and following scrum. Today I realise she hasn't understood ceremonies well. Then for the next 6 hours scrum training happens. It's hands on she collaborates with her over the training. Lot of fun to follow an evaluation. I was introduced to MAQ (Multiple Answer Questions) based evaluation by a colleague at Kalvium. And I have adopted the same since then. I have a tough evaluation planned and was surprised to see a few score above 10/39 which is a pretty good score. A sample question below.

Later, in the day dear friend Ravi, a Senior Engineering Manager was at home and played perfect devils advocate to her on the way she wrote the story, description and acceptance criteria. After some time Ravi taught her the right way to write User Stories in JIRA and result can be seen below. Ravi also taught metrics in the most simplest way way talking about the business metrics, product metrics and engineering metrics.

The session ended with her get an assignment to calculate availability for her website.
